Scottish Stained Glass Gives Back

Scottish Stained Glass Charity Work

At Scottish Stained Glass, we work with many charities to give back to our community in several ways. Owners Martin Faith and Gillian Faith organize several charity events and contributions throughout each year, helping some extremely worth causes throughout the process.

SMA Annual Golf Tournament

One of our largest forms of charity is an event that Gillian Faith has been putting together annually for the last 10 years; a golf tournament for spinal muscular atrophy, also known as SMA. SMA is one of the highest causes of death in children today, and this event helps raise money to find a cure for this genetic disorder. Scottish has raised around $200,000 since we first began this event, which has now become a tradition with our team each June. If you would like to learn more about playing in our next golf tournament for SMA, contact us anytime.

Project C.U.R.E.

We also work closely with a well-known charity called Project C.U.R.E. to help raise money to send medical supplies to third world countries in need, and they are the largest provider of these items to developing countries. While the medical supplies are typically donated, Project C.U.R.E. still needs funding to send these materials to their final destination, where the help is greatly needed. Martin Faith has a personal collection of antique stained glass that he has restored, and uses as a beautiful way to contribute to the Project C.U.R.E. mission. Martin sells these incredibly unique windows to our clients with a taste for the more traditional, and the proceeds go towards helping Project C.U.R.E. If you’re interested in seeing some of the beautiful pieces up for sale, give us a call today to talk about the options you have for helping this fantastic charity.

Scottish Stained Glass and Local Charities

In addition to our larger charity group efforts, we also frequently work with about 100 local charities in Colorado and Texas. We commonly offer gift certificates for our custom stained glass windows that can be used at a silent auction to raise money for a charitable cause. If you would like to learn more about any of the charities that we work with, or if you are a part of a local charity and would like a certificate donation from Scottish, give us a call or send an email today, and one of our staff members will be happy to help you with more information!
