This museum is best known as being the former home of the Unsinkable Molly Brown. Activist Margaret Brown was given this nickname because she survived the sinking of the Titanic. Her home still stands today and has been opened to the public as a museum. Beautiful stained glass windows reside in this historic home.

 

2. Adolph Zang Mansion

This historic structure was once home to Adolph Zang, an important figure who aided the commercial and industrial development of Denver. It contains seven beautiful stained and leaded glass windows that date back to the early 1900’s.

 

3. Colorado State Capitol

The Colorado State Capitol building is home to a number of stained glass portraits and is definitely worth a trip, especially if you’re visiting from out of town.

 

4. Fire Station 35

This beautiful work of art, made from aluminum and fused glass, in Fire Station 35 is backlit at night and can be seen from the highway by individuals traveling to the airport.

 

5.Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception

Of course, no list of Denver’s best stained glass installations would be complete without mention of this famous church. The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception contains 75 beautiful stained glass windows designed by F.X. Zettler, who was known for his ability to craft stunning colors and dyes. 50 artisans worked in unison to produce the stained glass.
