This project is a prime example of how we work with some clients to introduce a little bit of color into their otherwise leaded glass windows. Leaves and flowers are our most common design addition and are often used to tie the stained glass windows into a home’s existing decor.
Complex beveled designs like these work for homes with a certain sophisticated aesthetic. Working on beautiful stained glass projects like this is our true love at Scottish Stained Glass. This home is slightly smaller than many of our other clients. The entryway is a prominant point that can be seen throughout the entire main floor. By installing custom stained glass in this door, sidelights and transom, we provide the client with custom stained glass piece of art that they enjoy each and every day.
This is a wonderful example of our standard entryway stained glass project. Most modern sidelights are approximately 60 inches tall and 6 to 12 inches wide. This particular project also allowed us the opportunity to create a design for a door cutout. The prominant beveled design in the center of the door is a beautiful show piece for which our client often receives compliments.
This is absolutely one of the most beautiful entryways we have every completed at Scottish Stained Glass. While mostly an opaque “waterglass” this door uses a few beveled glass pieces to project just a little bit of design to stained glass doors, sidelights and transoms that are absolutely gorgeous.
Contemporary stained glass sidelights and transom allowed this home owner to ensure the privacy of their young family as they started to leave their children at home. Custom designed to compliment the home’s up to date interior design features, these designs was inspired partially by the geometric designs of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Double doors are a dramatic statement to make in an entryway. Adding stained glass windows to these double doors and sidelights was a finishing touch on an amazing custom home in Cherry Hills, Colorado. Scottish Stained Glass was invited into the project at the conceptual stage and was able to consult with the client about a custom door builder as well as other places throughout the home where stained glass could be effectively integrated.
The gorgeous use of traditional stained glass diamond bevels and water glass provides what was otherwise a rather typical entryway with unique character and a significantly improved amount of light entering the living room.
Custom stained glass sidelights are a beautiful compliment to a custom door. This particular door is has a unique rounded top with stained glass sidelights that were custom built to frame to custom door.
This stunning entryway and sidelight demonstrate just how much glass can be fit in a door and sidelight. This Celtic inspired leaded glass optimizes the amount of light to the entryway while still maintaining privacy for the client. This particular project helped a real estate agent sell a house that had been on the market for 5 months before the addition of the stained glass.
This entryway stained glass mixes elements of contemporary stained glass designs with traditional design elements to fit a house that had a little bit of both. The large transom window above the door is a beautiful accent piece the home while the stained glass panels in the door provide a practical solution that protects the client’s privacy.
This entryway stained glass project features 6 foot tall stained glass sidelights on both sides of the door as well as a custom built wood door from one of our door partners. Custom stained glass in a custom built wood door is an extraordinary beautiful way to enhance your entryway while protecting the privacy and security of your family.
These beautiful entryway stained glass sidelights and transom are built from individual 6 individual stained glass panels on each side of the door as well as a complementary transom window above the door.
