A Scottish crest badge is a heraldic badge worn to show allegiance to an individual or membership in a specific Scottish clan. Crest badges are commonly worn by members of Scottish clans. Crest badges consist of a crest and a motto/slogan. These badges usually consist of elements from the clan chief’s coat of arms. For example, the Wallace clan crest is an image of a dexter arm in armor with sword in hand and has a motto translating to “for liberty”. These crest badges are the inspiration behind our clan crest panels that are custom designed and created.
Our stained glass family crests are all individually designed and hand made here in Denver, allowing you the opportunity to customize the shape and colors. Typically, the family crests that we design are 24″x24″ and octagonal. There is a lot of work in the process of creating stained glass crests, so we are only able to take on one or two of them per month. They are not mass produced.
The quality of the workmanship of the stained glass family crests are impeccable. They also come with a lifetime transferable warranty so these can be passed on from generation to generation. If taken care of, family crests can last forever!
Scottish Stained Glass can design and install windows or panels made up of imagery that is meaningful to your family narrative. These family crests make great additions to your home, shared family vacation residences, or the homes of family members. This is a great gift for the family member who already has everything or simply takes great pride in their family and heritage. We have also completed stained glass crests for schools, fraternal organizations, and many other similar organizations that appreciate the heritage a stained glass crest provides.
